Matter switches, dimmers and plugs available in Australia

Matter lets one device work with Home Assistant, Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa at the same time, and control stays on your local network. In Australia the choice of wall-mounted Matter switches is still small.

Matter devices come in two flavours: Matter over Wi-Fi, and Matter over Thread. Thread devices need a Thread border router (for example a recent Apple TV, HomePod mini, Google Nest hub or a Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2).

Hard-wired devices must be installed by a licensed electrician.
